Business Development Manager – Construction Sector

Dewsbury | £40,000 - £60,000 OTE + £5,000 Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across the construction sector, promoting specialist CCTV and site security solutions to contractors, developers and construction businesses.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating new business opportunities and developing existing client relationships
• Meeting clients on-site to understand project requirements and provide tailored solutions
• Preparing and presenting proposals to secure new contracts
• Building strong relationships with key decision-makers across the construction industry
• Working closely with operational and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Monitoring market activity and identifying new opportunities for growth
• Representing the business at networking events and industry exhibitions
• Achieving sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• A proven background in business development or field sales
• Experience selling CCTV, security, or related solutions into the construction sector (highly desirable)
• A strong understanding of the construction industry and its security requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
• A passion for developing new business and exceeding sales targets
