Job Title: Primary School Cover Teacher
Location: Halifax
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £140 - £170 per day

TeacherActive is recruiting Primary School Cover Teachers to work across a number of mainstream primary schools throughout Halifax.

We have opportunities for teachers looking for day-to-day and short-term work across KS1 and KS2. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for more flexibility or an ECT looking to gain experience across different schools, we want to hear from you.

As a Primary School Cover Teacher, you will deliver lessons, manage classroom behaviour, follow individual school policies and ensure children continue to receive engaging and effective learning.

The successful Primary School Cover Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience within a UK primary school setting

• Confidence teaching KS1 and/or KS2

• Effective classroom and behaviour management

• A strong understanding of safeguarding

• A reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
