Location: Leeds & surrounding areas

Salary: £140 – £225 per day
Contract: Day-to-Day, Short-Term & Long-Term

TeacherActive is working with a range of primary schools across Leeds and surrounding areas who are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Teachers for day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities.

Whether you're an experienced teacher, an ECT looking to build your classroom experience, or simply looking for more flexibility, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

The successful Primary School Teacher may be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and/or KS2

• Following existing lesson plans for day-to-day cover

• Planning and delivering lessons for longer-term roles

• Adapting learning to meet individual pupil needs

• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour

• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs

• Following school safeguarding policies and procedures

The successful Primary School Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Previous UK primary school experience

• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum

• Confidence teaching KS1 and/or KS2

• Strong classroom and behaviour management

• Good safeguarding knowledge

• A flexible, positive and reliable approach
