Export Coordinator

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company based in Ossett, Wakefield who are looking for an experienced Export Coordinator to join their team.

Salary: £30,000
Location: Wakefield
Full-time Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate export orders from receipt through to delivery.
• Prepare and process export documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and transport providers.
• Arrange international shipments and monitor deliveries.
• Ensure all export documentation and procedures comply with relevant regulations.
• Manage shipping schedules and resolve any issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep customers informed throughout the export process.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure orders are processed and dispatched on time.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working within an export or international logistics role is essential.
• Good understanding of export procedures and documentation.
• Experience dealing with freight forwarders and international shipments.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
