Warehouse Manager (Days)

£34,000 - £37,000 + Bonus + Job Security + Long-Term Stability + Great Work Life Balance

Leeds (Commutable from: Bradford, Pudsey, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Harrogate, Castleford, York)

Are you a Warehouse Manager or Supervisor looking for a secure, long-term role with a great work-life balance, where you will be able to make a real difference in an established department and further developing your skills?

This is a permanent position with a well-established specialist manufacturer where you will take ownership of a small warehouse function, working closely with production and installation to keep goods moving safely, accurately and on time.

The company are well established and produces high-quality bespoke products where care in handling, storage, loading and transportation is essential. Due to continued growth and a healthy order book, they are now looking to add another experienced warehouse leader to strengthen their team.

You will oversee goods in/out, despatch scheduling, stock control, stores and transport coordination, while maintaining strong housekeeping and Health & Safety standards and supporting simple, practical improvements. The role will be overseeing a team of 4 warehouse operatives / packing operatives.

This role would suit someone from a Warehouse Management / leadership background who is looking for a Days based role where you will get stability, consistency and long-term security with a respected local employer.

The Role:

• Manage day-to-day warehouse, despatch, stores and stock control operations
• Lead a small team and plan workload, priorities and schedules
• Goods in/out, labelling/protection of finished products and coordination of safe loading
• Transport coordination and paperwork, maintaining strong housekeeping and H&S (incl. COSHH)
• Days-based hours with an early finish Friday

The Person:

• Warehouse management/supervisory experience
• Useful to have experience within Manufacturing, Engineering, or similar fields
• It would be useful to have a valid FLT license
