Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable main dealer in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for skilled automotive professionals seeking career progression within a large and stable automotive group.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults
• Service vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines
• Conduct vehicle inspections for wear and tear and general faults
• Complete mechanical work to DVSA standards
• Provide high-quality customer service
• Assist and guide less experienced team members
• Maintain precise records of work carried out
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with manufacturer procedures

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Full UK driving licence
• Own set of tools
• Ability to complete complex mechanical tasks
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Previous experience working within a main dealer environment is desirable but not essential
