Support Worker - Make a Difference Every Day

Location: Featherstone, West Yorkshire

We're looking for Support Workers to join an established care provider supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

• £12.81 to £13.31 per hour

The Role

You'll support people to live fulfilling, varied and as independent a life as possible. Depending on individual needs, this could include:

• Supporting with daily routines and personal care
• Shopping, cooking and household tasks
• Helping people access activities and the local community
• Encouraging independence, choice and the development of new skills
• Supporting health and wellbeing, including appointments
• Administering medication once appropriately trained
• Supporting days out, activities, trips and holidays

The aim is simple: help people live the life they choose, with the right support around them.

What We're Looking For

You'll need to be caring, patient, reliable and compassionate, with the ability to remain calm in stressful or challenging situations.

You'll also need to be flexible

Please note:

• You must be prepared to work 3 weekends out of every 4
• Shifts may include Bank Holidays
• You must already have the Right to Work in the UK
