Job Description:

Freelance Site Manager – CAT A Office Fitout

Leeds City Centre | £300 per day | 6-Month Initial Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join an established construction business delivering a £5m CAT A office fitout in the heart of Leeds City Centre.

The project is expected to run for approximately 6 months, with a mid-October start date. The exact start date is due to be fully confirmed within the next two weeks.

This is a site-based role and we are looking for a Site Manager with a strong background in commercial fitout, particularly CAT A and CAT B office projects, who is comfortable managing projects of £5m+ in value.

The Role:

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of a £5m CAT A office fitout
• Taking responsibility for site operations, health & safety, quality and programme
• Managing subcontractors and site labour
• Coordinating works across multiple trades and packages
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team
• Monitoring progress against programme and addressing any issues on site
• Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and specification
• Managing site logistics within a busy Leeds City Centre environment
• Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates

The Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fitout projects
• Strong CAT A and CAT B fitout experience
• Experience delivering projects valued at £5m+
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and site management
• Able to manage subcontractors and multiple trades effectively
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Relevant Site Management qualifications and CSCS
• Previous experience working on office fitout projects is essential
