Academics Educational Recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary SEN Teachers to join a range of schools and specialist settings across Halifax.

We have a variety of opportunities available, so whether you're an experienced SEN specialist, have worked within a specialist provision, or hold an SEN qualification and are looking to develop your experience, we may have a role that's right for you.

Our Primary SEN vacancies vary across different settings and pupil needs. You could find yourself:

• Teaching a small, nurturing class where individualised support is at the heart of learning
• Delivering a creative and engaging curriculum adapted to each child's needs amd working towards their EHCP outcomes and individual targets
• Developing communication, independence, confidence and social skills alongside academic progress
• Working alongside experienced teaching assistants and wider support teams
• Creating a calm, structured classroom where pupils feel safe, valued and ready to learn

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Experience working with children with SEN, ideally within a specialist provision, or a relevant SEN qualification
• A positive and nurturing approach to teaching
• The ability to differentiate and adapt learning effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
