Location: Bradford, BD12
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm

We are recruiting for a Road Freight Customer Service Coordinator to join a busy and growing logistics operation in Bradford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems and managing a fast-paced workload.

You will act as a key point of contact for customers, helping to coordinate their road freight requirements and keeping them updated throughout the process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a high volume of customer emails and telephone calls

• Providing customers with regular shipment updates

• Responding quickly and professionally to queries

• Liaising with internal teams, drivers, hauliers and transport partners

• Monitoring road freight movements and identifying potential delays

• Resolving problems and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service

• Updating internal systems with accurate shipment information

• Building strong, long-term relationships with customers

• Supporting the wider operations team when required

We are looking for someone with a strong background in at least one of the following areas:

• Logistics or freight forwarding

• European road freight

• Transport or distribution

• High-volume customer service

You will also need:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence handling a large number of emails and calls

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• A proactive approach to solving problems

• The drive and ambition to learn and progress

• Good general computer and administration skills

Previous road freight experience would be highly beneficial, but candidates with strong logistics or fast-paced customer service experience will also be considered.
