Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Refuse Driver. You will be working in Harrogate

Monday - Friday

06:00am - 16:45pm

Temp Contract - ongoing

Pay rate - £17.85ph paye

Job Purpose

As a Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle and supporting the collection of household and commercial waste across designated routes.

Key responsibilities:

• Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Completing scheduled waste and recycling collections.
• Working closely with loaders and other members of the collection team.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Following designated routes and collection schedules.
• Complying with all health & safety, road traffic and company procedures.
• Providing a professional and courteous service to members of the public.
• Assisting with loading and collection duties when required.
