Quality & Compliance Coordinator

West Yorkshire
£28,000 – £32,000 + up to 5% bonus

I’m recruiting for a Quality Coordinator to join an established manufacturing business in West Yorkshire.

This is a varied role combining customer complaints, non-conformances, inspections, quality systems and continuous improvement. It would suit a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician or junior Quality Engineer looking to broaden their experience.

The role is roughly 50% office-based and 50% hands-on within the manufacturing environment.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing customer complaints and internal non-conformances

• Supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions

• Carrying out product and process inspections

• Supporting internal audits and ISO 9001 compliance

• Maintaining quality records and documentation

• Monitoring quality data and trends

• Working with production and other departments to resolve issues

• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

What I’m looking for

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Quality experience within manufacturing or engineering

• Knowledge of non-conformances and root cause analysis

• Experience working with a Quality Management System

• Good IT and basic Excel skills

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Confidence working with and challenging people on the shop floor

Experience with SAP, CRM systems, internal auditing or ISO 9001 would be useful, but training can be provided.
