Job Description:

Location: Based at HQ near Shipley

Salary: £30k to £40k

The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional looking to take the next step in their career within a growing and acquisitive group. Working closely with the Operations Director, you will play a key role in supporting purchasing and supply chain activities across the business while developing the skills and experience needed to progress into a senior procurement leadership position.

The successful candidate will receive ongoing training, mentoring and support from an experienced Operations Director, alongside sponsorship for further education and professional memberships such as CIPS. With significant growth plans in place, both organically and through acquisition, this role offers a genuine career path, with the realistic prospect of progressing to Group Procurement Manager within 2 to 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the procurement of M&E, HVAC, electrical products, valves and associated equipment
• Assist with reviewing and renegotiating supplier agreements to improve commercial performance
• Identify and source new suppliers and products in line with business requirements
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and monitor performance against quality, delivery and service standards
• Work closely with Sales, Operations and Directors to support business objectives
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements and product developments
• Maintain accurate supplier and contract information
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function
