Part-Time HR Advisor

Salary: £24,500 - £27,500  
Hours: 22.5 hours per week

The Role
 
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day HR administration and payroll processes. This is a standalone HR role, offering the autonomy to manage your own workload while working alongside a supportive management team and colleagues across the business.
 
The successful candidate will be confident working independently, highly organised, and passionate about delivering an efficient and professional HR service.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly payroll process, including complex payroll requirements for drivers.
• Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.
• Process HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, amendments, and leaver documentation.
• Ensure employee data is maintained in line with GDPR requirements.
• Keep employee and vendor records accurate and up to date.
• Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Assist with onboarding and induction of new employees.
• Support absence management and maintain accurate sickness records.
• Liaise with colleagues across our international offices where required.
• Produce HR reports and maintain confidential personnel files.
• Provide administrative support across all areas of the employee lifecycle.

 
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience within a HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or similar HR role.
• Previous payroll experience, including managing complex payroll processes.
• Experience working independently within a standalone HR function or managing your own workload.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law, HR regulations and GDPR.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using HR systems and confidently inputting and maintaining employee data.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
• A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information.
• A proactive, flexible attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Confidence working with employees across different departments and international locations.
