Job Title: Nursery Manager

Do you have strong leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding Early Years care and education?

Are you confident leading a nursery team while maintaining high standards across safeguarding, the EYFS and day-to-day operations?

TeacherActive is working with a private day nursery in Wakefield that is looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Manager for an immediate start.

The successful Nursery Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the setting, leading and supporting the nursery team while ensuring children receive a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment in which they can thrive.

The successful Nursery Manager will have:

• Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or similar senior Early Years role
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years as a minimum
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a nursery team
• Confidence maintaining high standards across the setting
• Excellent communication skills when working with staff, children and parents
• A genuine passion for Early Years education and child development

The Nursery Manager will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Leading, supporting and developing the Early Years team
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are consistently followed
• Maintaining high standards of care, learning and development
• Supporting staff with planning and delivery of the EYFS
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and carers
• Ensuring the nursery provides a welcoming, safe and engaging environment
