Are you an experienced and passionate Level 3 Nursery Nurse looking for a rewarding afternoon role with additional responsibility?

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse to join our team as Deputy Manager, working afternoons only.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated early years professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of our nursery.

As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider team to ensure children receive the highest standard of care, learning and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Providing strong leadership and guidance to the nursery team.
• Ensuring children are safe, happy, settled and well cared for.
• Supporting high-quality learning and development opportunities in line with the EYFS.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
• Supporting staff with planning, observations and children's individual needs.
• Taking responsibility for the setting during the Manager's absence when required.
• Leading by example and helping to create a positive, welcoming nursery environment.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Level 3 qualified in Early Years/Childcare.
• Experienced working within an early years setting.
• Passionate about providing outstanding care and learning opportunities.
• Confident, organised and able to lead and motivate a team.
• Knowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding.
• A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and professional.
• Looking for an afternoon-only position with opportunities to take on additional responsibility.
