Job Description:

Beyond Talent Solutions is supporting an established Leeds-based legal firm in the search for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team on an intiial 3-6 month fixed-term contract. This opportunity would suit someone who has previous legal cashiering experience and can quickly become a valued member of the team, supporting day-to-day finance operations while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.

The Role

Working as part of a supportive finance function, you'll be responsible for a broad range of legal cashiering duties, including:

• Processing client and office account transactions
• Bank reconciliations and account balancing
• Handling payments, receipts and cash allocations
• Supporting billing and month-end processes
• Responding to finance and cashiering queries
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and internal procedures
• Providing wider finance support when required

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Previous Legal Cashier experience
• A strong understanding of client and office accounts
• Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Most importantly, you'll be someone who can hit the ground running, work confidently with minimal supervision and make an immediate contribution to the team.
