About the Role

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role that offers more than policies, processes and paperwork?

Our client is a growing business looking for an ambitious and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join their close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys providing practical, commercial advice, building strong relationships and getting involved in the more complex aspects of people management.

Alongside traditional HR responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work closely with businesses and clients, develop relationships and represent the organisation at professional events and networking opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice to clients and businesses
• Act as a trusted HR partner, supporting clients with a wide range of people-related matters
• Manage employee relations cases, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes
• Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures
• Support businesses with recruitment, onboarding, performance and employee development
• Provide guidance on employment legislation and ensure best practice is followed
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Attend professional events, networking opportunities and industry functions
• Identify opportunities to develop existing relationships and generate new business
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the HR offering
• Work collaboratively with a knowledgeable and supportive team

About You

We are looking for an HR professional who is confident, commercially aware and enjoys working with people.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, HR Advisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• Excellent employee relations experience
• The confidence to provide practical and commercially focused HR advice
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• A genuine interest in networking and developing professional relationships
• A go-getter attitude and desire to contribute to business growth

You will be someone who enjoys being client-facing, isn't afraid to pick up the phone or walk into a room full of new people, and wants to build a strong professional profile alongside developing your HR career.
