Hard FM Consultant
Location: UK Wide
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Working Pattern: Permanent / Full-time
Travel: UK-wide, with potential overseas opportunities
 
We are working with a leading FM consultancy that is looking to appoint a Hard FM Consultant to support the delivery of technical FM consultancy projects across a diverse client base.
 
The Role
Working closely with senior consultants and clients, you will provide technical expertise across a range of Hard FM projects, including:

• Asset management and lifecycle planning
• Technical surveys and reviews
• Maintenance strategy and PPM
• FM mobilisation and asset data management
• Project and defects management
• Hard FM maintenance estimating
• FM procurement and tender support
• Development of technical specifications and service delivery solutions
• Energy management, sustainability and emerging FM technologies

 
About You
We are looking for an experienced Hard FM professional with a strong engineering background, ideally electrically biased with good mechanical knowledge.
 
You will have:

• Significant experience in a technical FM role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services
• Experience managing or delivering FM projects
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and Hard FM best practice
• Knowledge of FM contracts, asset management and lifecycle planning
• Experience with CAFM, BIM and/or emerging FM technologies
• Experience supporting FM bids and tender responses
• Strong commercial and client-facing skills
• PFI / PPP experience would be advantageous
• Relevant engineering qualification; chartered status or professional membership desirable
• Full UK driving licence
