Job Description:

Novara People are recruiting for a Handyman / Maintenance Operative to support a well-established specialist manufacturing business based in Leeds.

This is a temporary position expected to last a couple of months, supporting the site with a variety of general maintenance, painting and repair work.

Hours

Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm
39 hours per week

Duties will include
Painting and decorating around the site
Carrying out minor repairs
General maintenance and upkeep
Basic handyman tasks
Touching up damaged or worn areas
Supporting with general site improvements
Using basic hand tools
Keeping work areas clean and tidy
Following site Health & Safety procedures
What we're looking for

We're looking for somebody who is practical and hands-on, with previous experience in general maintenance, handyman, property maintenance or similar work.

You should be comfortable carrying out a variety of tasks rather than specialising in one particular trade.

You will need to be:

Reliable and able to work independently
Confident using basic hand tools
Comfortable completing painting and minor repair work
Health & Safety conscious
Available for the full duration of the temporary assignment

This would suit an experienced Handyman, Maintenance Operative, Property Maintenance Worker or General Maintenance Assistant looking for a short-term assignment.
