You will be responsible for identifying and winning new freight forwarding business across Yorkshire and the wider region.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Winning new customers across road, sea and air freight

• Identifying and developing new sales opportunities

• Managing your own diary, appointments and sales pipeline

• Attending customer meetings and presenting tailored freight solutions

• Building strong relationships with decision-makers

• Preparing quotations and negotiating commercial agreements

• Working closely with operations to ensure a smooth customer handover

• Developing accounts to maximise long-term revenue and profitability

• Maintaining accurate sales activity and pipeline information

• Representing the business at networking events and industry meetings

You will ideally have:

• Previous freight forwarding sales experience

• A strong understanding of road, sea or air freight

• A proven ability to generate leads and win new business

• Existing relationships within the Yorkshire market

• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

• A commercially focused and self-motivated approach

• The confidence to manage your own territory and diary

• A full UK driving licence
