Vacancy – Fabricator

Location – Bradford

Hours – 40hrs per week, Monday – Friday – Operating hours:
6am – 6pm

Salary – up to £15ph

Fabricator

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fabrication and manufacturing work to a high standard, working from technical drawings and specifications within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings to understand job requirements.
Carry out general fabrication and manufacturing duties using a range of hand and power tools.
Measure, mark out, cut, drill and prepare materials accurately.
Carry out welding and fabrication work to the required specification and quality standards.
Assemble fabricated components and structures accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed to the required dimensions, tolerances and quality standards.
Inspect completed work and identify any defects or issues.
Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Use machinery, tools and equipment safely and correctly.
Complete job documentation and production paperwork accurately.
Work as part of a team to ensure production targets are achieved.
Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE when required.
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience within a fabrication, manufacturing or engineering environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Previous experience with fabrication, welding or metalwork.
Good understanding of measurements, dimensions and tolerances.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
Able to manage workload effectively within a busy production environment.
Relevant fabrication, welding or engineering qualifications would be advantageous.
