Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team working on a long-term commercial contract in Leeds.
 
The role will have an electrical bias, covering planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and installation works, alongside a range of general building services maintenance.
 
The Role:

• Carry out electrical PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance through a helpdesk system.
• Fault find, diagnose and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Undertake electrical installation and repair works where required.
• Carry out general building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical tasks.
• Ensure electrical equipment operates safely and to the required performance standards.
• Monitor contractors and their workmanship when required.
• Issue Permits to Work and ensure relevant standards and procedures are followed.
• Provide a professional service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Work as part of a wider facilities management team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.

About You:

• Strong electrical maintenance background with an electrical bias.
• Previous experience working within facilities management or commercial building services.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent 
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• IPAF/PASMA desirable.
• Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential.

Working Hours & Package:

• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
• £42,000 - £46,000
