Customer Service Representative

Batley | £26,000 - £27,000 + Bonus | Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm ( no evenings or weekends)

Are you an experienced Customer Service Advisor who enjoys solving problems and delivering a great customer experience?

We’re recruiting for a friendly, established and growing business in Batley looking to add an experienced Customer Service Advisor to their small, supportive team.

This is a full-time, permanent office-based role with fantastic Monday-to-Friday hours, no evenings or weekends, and the opportunity to earn an additional £5,000 - £8,000 per year in bonuses.

The Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, providing support over the phone, email and online channels. There is no face-to-face customer contact.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling inbound customer calls and emails
• Responding to pre-sales and general customer enquiries
• Providing updates and resolving order queries
• Handling complaints, escalations and after-sales enquiries
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve queries quickly and efficiently
• Communicating with third-party suppliers and couriers
• Updating customer information and maintaining accurate records
• Completing general administration and updating internal systems

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Previous experience within an office-based customer service role
• Experience handling inbound calls and emails
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
• Good general IT and computer skills
• A confident, approachable and professional manner
• The ability to listen, problem-solve and think on your feet
• A positive, can-do attitude

Experience using CRM systems, Zendesk or online web chat would be an advantage, but isn’t essential as training can be provided. Previous sales experience would also be beneficial.
