CAD Technician / Setter Out – Joinery Production / Manufacturing

My client is a leading Main / Principle Interiors Contractor, providing products and services to create high end luxury interior environments in the High End Residential, Leading Hotels and Restaurants in the London and the UK.

The CAD Designer Setter Out Role

Based in West Yorkshire my client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced CAD Designer / Draughtsman to create production drawing for manufacturing purposes specifically for joinery and associated materials, which allows for the installation of joinery subcontract packages on projects within these sectors.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Manage and coordinate all design functions of a fit out / joinery project including that of sub-contract trades.
• Work closely with the in-house Production team to provide the essential link between the manufacturing process and the on site installation.

• The job involves creating visuals and design drawings for tender stage through to fabrication drawings for manufacturing.

Key skill requirements of the CAD Designer Setter Out Role

• Expertise with AutoCAD
• Production of Joiner related Working / Production Drawings for Manufacturing Purposes.

• Good understanding of Microsoft office
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-managed, motivated and hard working
