Rexel UK is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Branch Assistant to join our Leeds Denmans branch, working Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm or 8am- 5pm shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to the overall success of the branch.

As a Branch Assistant, you will be the face of our wholesale branch, delivering exceptional customer service at the Trade Counter to both trade professionals and the public. In this varied role role, you will take ownership of eye-catching shop displays to highlight promotions, manage incoming and outgoing stock, and prepare and deliver customer orders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service: Provide outstanding support to customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Trade Counter & Sales: Efficiently serve walk-in customers and make proactive sales calls to a portfolio of new and existing accounts, collaborating closely with the external sales team.
• Sales Administration: Process customer orders, generate accurate quotations, and actively follow up on leads.
• Stock & Warehouse Management: Oversee stock control, including processing orders, picking, packing, managing store transfers, and safely loading/unloading delivery vans (includes heavy lifting).
• Product Knowledge: Continuously learn about new industry products and market trends to better assist customers.
