Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a BOAS Engineer to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Leeds.

BOAS Engineer – Manufacturing

Leeds | £35,000 - £45,000 | Days only (Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm)

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor and maintain the site's industrial steam boilers and equipment
• Carry out routine boiler checks, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Monitor boiler performance and identify and resolve faults
• Support reactive and planned maintenance across the boiler and wider plant
• Carry out basic boiler water testing and maintain relevant records
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently
• Support production operators with day-to-day operational issues and equipment problems on the shop floor
• Assist operators with fault finding and minor maintenance issues where required
• Work alongside operators on the production line 
• Help minimise downtime by responding quickly to plant and production issues
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures and compliance requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• BOAS Qualification – essential
• Proven hands-on experience working with industrial steam boilers
• Experience operating and maintaining a boiler within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
• Previous production and operator experience
