Baby Room Leader – Full Time (40 Hours per Week)
Flexible options - term time only considered and condensing hours into a 4 day week also offered

Are you at your best when working with the very youngest learners? Do you know how to turn everyday moments into meaningful experiences for babies as they take their first steps in learning and development? If so, this could be your next role.

We’re looking for a warm, confident and experienced Baby Room Leader to join a nurturing early years setting. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide a small team, create a safe and stimulating environment, and build strong relationships with children and families.

The role at a glance:

• 40 hours per week
• Working hours between 7:45am and 6:00pm (shift patterns within this window)
• Term time only option available for the right person

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the baby room with care, consistency and a calm presence
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Supporting your team to deliver high-quality early years practice
• Building trusting relationships with parents and carers
• Ensuring the room is a safe, stimulating and welcoming space every day

What we’re looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
• Experience working in a baby room, or previous leadership experience, ideally both
• A genuine passion for early development and child-led learning
• Someone organised, approachable and confident leading a team
• Flexibility to work within the setting’s opening hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
